Not just a cold...

So after a few weeks of feeling downright "poopy" and tired I was starting to get a little fed up. Aaron and I had cancelled our weekend camping trip to complete some projects around the house and meet the family for Brandon's birthday dinner. Vickie (Aaron's Mom) mentioned that I hadn't been feeling well for quite some time. She said "I know you said you aren't pregnant... but even the Dr. thought Brandon was the flu for three weeks". I just laughed. But when we left El Maguey (El Magooey -as iI call it :-)) Aaron and I headed to Wal-mart to pick up a few things. We decided to also pick up some pregnancy tests ... just to check.

With the tests safely in the cart - hidden under the toothpaste and shampoo (you never know WHO you will run into at Wal-mart) we headed for the checkout and then home.

Aaron was supposed to be mowing the yard- but he couldn't wait and said I needed to take the test. We bought the Clear Blue tests that don't mess around with the + or - but instead say Pregnant and Not Pregnant. After reading the test and then placing it on the floor and covering it with a towel - so we could both see the results together- I called Aaron in. The directions said it would take three minutes to process- in less than a minute there it was "Pregnant". I was trying to not fall off the toilet where I was sitting to wait for the results.... and Aaron was looking like he just won the lottery but was afraid to jump up and down. I assured him I was happy ... just a little shocked. We went into the kitchen where I chugged three glasses of water - and then ripped open the other test. In less than 30 seconds it too said "Pregnant".... there was no question about it - our family was growing! :-)
